On Monday October 19, 2020 Garrett’s world got turned upside down. While he was working demoing a bridge one of the steel girders twisted and the decking he and another worker were on fell 30 ft to the pavement below. Garrett sustained major injuries that will impact his life forever. A broken back a crushed left foot, torch burns to his leg and the trauma the body endures falling from such a height. But he is alive and we are so very thankful for that!! Garrett is an amazing person, he lights up the room with his personality and smile! He’s got the biggest heart and is always willing to drop what he is doing to help others. He’s a very hard worker and lives paycheck to paycheck like most of us. But the cost that comes from things insurance doesn’t cover along with his normal expenses and the numerous doctors visits he will have and not being able to work makes paying for these things hard. So now it’s our turn to show him some love! Anything helps even if it’s just sharing this post.
