Donna Wiegle is a friend to many people across Maine and this country. She has given so much of herself to her Swan's Island community, and works tirelessly to help those around her. 

Donna was recently diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer and will begin weekly chemo therapy treatments in Bangor starting in early June, 2016. Both Donna and Charlie are self-employed, and already Donna has reached her maximum deductible of over $7,500.  This treatment will require many trips off the island for both Donna and Charlie, resulting in lost wages. Donna  and Charlie need to focus on healing and resting and really don't need to have financial stress on top of everything else. 

Please consider helping to relieve the financial burden this long journey will be imposing on Donna and Charlie so that they may focus on kicking cancer's tush!
