We are walking in the darkest of tunnels. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ruben Perez who was senselessly taken away from us on October 17th, 2020. We are devastated and there are no words to describe the pain and anguish his family and friends are experiencing right now. He was a loving boyfriend to my daughter Shaelyn for over 16 years and an extraordinary father to his son, Diesel. He was an incredible son to his parents and brother to his siblings and never hesitated to help anyone. As many of you know, Ruben was a man who has always taken care of the people around him. And now, it is time to take care of what’s left of him - his child and mother of his son. Ruben cared so deeply for his son. His son was his world. My poor grandson will never get to hug his daddy again. Ruben was a son to me. We talked everyday. He didn’t deserve this. He truly loved Shaelyn and diesel and would not want to see them lose everything they built as a family. Our family has taken a huge loss these last 6 months. We are still grieving the loss of my husband and now my son-in-law. Their business has been shutdown do to Covid and they need financial help. Anything will be of help.
