Fire Consumes the Home of a Family of 8
Donation protected
Hi everyone, I am fundraising for my Mother-in-law and the Ayala Family. On Thursday October 15, 2020 a devasting electrical fire riddled through my mother-in-law's house, leaving 8 family members (including 3 school age children, a 1 year old, four adults and a pupper) without shelter, clothing, bare necessities.
This fire was instantaneous and although they were fortunate enough to get themselves out, there was no time to save much else. My Brother-in-law, who's 12, suffers from a serious heart condition, that put him on a transplant list early this year. This fire destroyed his heart medications that helps stabilize his condition, as well as my mother-in-law's medications, as she continues to manage a serious medical condition as well.
Already making it one day at a time, the Ayala Family has been resilient, this fire burned through their belongings, their home and their means to simply live day by day. Leaving the family members split between different temporary homes, with minimal clothing and necessities and through this devastation, a determination to restore their home.
We are asking our families, friends, neighbors and community to help them rebuild and replace what was lost. 100% of the funds donated will go to the Ayala's to insure they can rebuild and get back on their feet. We are incredibly grateful to all who have come together thus far, and we appreciate any help going forward. Thank you for your kindness!
