On Saturday, May 21, a container of lighter fluid blew up leaving 2 little girls with 2nd and 3rd degree burns all over their bodies. These girls are 10 and 12 years old and are my nieces, whom I love dearly. They are in a Children's Hospital burn unit in Westchester which is about a 3 hour drive from home. They will most likely be in the hospital for over a month and even after they go home they will have to return to Westchester for multiple appointments. My sister is going to be out of work for a while to stay with her daughter and she also has 2 more young girls at home. She is going to need as much help as she can get to pay for travel, hospital costs, bills at home, and anything else they may need while they are recovering. Every dollar helps and will be split between the 2 families to help them get through this tough time.
