Support ARTEria del Corazón de Patricia Rodriguez Exhibit
Donation protected
Mission Cultural Center has invited Patricia Rodriguez to exhibit her work as part of Latino Heritage Month this fall. The show - ARTEria del Corazón de Patricia Rodriguez - will be a wonderful tribute to Patricia, who has produced countless art pieces, mentored and instilled pride in young artists, and given so much to the community over her career.
Long-time friends Irene Perez, Frances Valesco, and Janice Vela are helping Patricia prepare for the exhibit. However, it's impossible for us to cover the costs of transporting more than 40 paintings, sculptures, monoprints, and giclee prints to MCCLA and printing copies of A Rose in My Heart (seen here) as merchandise.
Please join us in making this exhibit a success by making a donation to Patricia. This campaign starts now and will continue until November 6, Patricia's birthday. Your gifts help pay for her share of the exhibit expenses and will leave her with a little nest egg for the future. While Patricia would like to return to work, right now it is not possible. Your financial assistance is a beautiful expression of gratitude for her friendship and guidance.
In addition, all artworks will be available for sale at MCCLA so that you may enjoy your own Patricia Rodriguez in your art collection. The proceeds from artworks sold will be split between Patricia and MCCLA.
The following are details for your calendar:
-Opening Reception: Thursday, August 29, 6 - 9 pm
-Closing Reception: Saturday, October 12, 3 - 6 pm
-Location: Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts (MCCLA)
With much appreciation to Joe Ramos who photographed Patricia for exhibit publicity, Rafael Gonzalez who suggested the exhibit's title, Naomi Quiñonez for interviewing Patricia on her artistic process, and all of you for your involvement and support,
