Hey, everybody, I just want start by saying this is the very last thing I ever thought I would be doing. I hate asking for help with anything and like to try and make my own way and always have.  But as luck would have it, on Janaury 13th my head was hit  resulting in a concussion. The next day I had a really bad  headache but didn't think much of it until my headaches worsened and new symptoms began to appear. 
Over the following week I began to feel disoriented and had severe sensitivity to light, and digitized screens which would result, and still does, in disabilitating migraines, loss of focus, and disoreintation. I was really scared and didn't know what was going on with me, so, I went to see a neurologist who informed me I had sustained a Mild Tramautic Brain Injury that could last for 6 more months, a year, or may never go away. I have spent the last 8 months hoping that my brain would heal and it would all go away.  My doctors told me not to work and to rest instead. I did that for the first 4 months  with no improvement. I spent all of my savings on the visits to these doctors, including a trip to the ER, however, nothing has changed and I am still unable  to work full time without experiencing severe migraines, sensitivity to light and sound, and disoreintation.

 They seemed too good to be true at first, but as I researched them more and more it seemed they were legitimate. I sent them an application hoping they would accept me as a canidate for treatment. After waiting a few weeks they finally got back to me. I scheduled a consultation. They told me with their functional MRI's they could see what's not working in my brain and then assign an individual rehab program specific to me that would target each part of my brain that isn't working and from there they could stimulate them back to functioning correctly.
So, my friends, here's the situation, the therapy costs about 9,000 dollars. I know its a lot to ask for, although I am working more hours a week,  I will never reach this goal by myself. I really hate to ask for help but I have no choice and no where else to turn. If I can get this money and go do this treatment I will be able to get back to work and fight these medical bills I have built up. I can't do it on my own -- even if I sold everything I had it still wouldn't be enough. So, I ask with the utmost humility for your help and promise you all my eternal gratitude for whatever it is you can give to help me get my life back.
