At the early age of 26 years old and only one week after his birthday , my husband Victor was diagnosed with BCell Leukemia on 9/27/16. It has been extremely tough on our family as this news was the least expected.
Victor and I as newlyweds bought a home together about 7 months ago ; We have 3 kids together and all was going well.
Currently, Victor is undergoing tests at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles to determine the best type of chemo therapy after being at St Joseph Hospital in Burbank for about a week. Although devestated with the news , Victor has taken an extremely positive attitude that he will beat this cancer; His faith is high thanks to all of the family and friends calling and visiting ...we consider ourselves blessed.
As we have recently learned , with Leaukemia , like other cancers, there will be times when his spirit will be down and it will be a difficult process to recovery, but anything is possible.
According to the doctors , Victor will stay hospitalized for about 4 weeks and come in periodically . Today, with one income in our family , it will get tough to pay for the mortgage , transportation , bills, etc . We ask that your good faith will help us in any way because during this tuff time ahead we will be grateful with anything we can raise to keep us going .
