"Do you believe in miracles?" Please help Mike become a miracle against all odds! Our brother Mike has been living with a rare form of bone cancer for the last 5 years, but on April 20th this year~ he entered the City of Hope hospital and received his twin brother's(John) bone marrow cell transplant- a perfect match! He had some very rough days post transplant, but one day had a drop in visit by none other than THE Al Michaels, (famed sports announcer) who hung out and shared a few sports stories with Mike, also giving him a little inspiration since he too was a transplant patient a few years back.
Mike is doing better every day, but has a very long road ahead. His medical insurance only covers a portion of his expenses that he has already incurred, and his after care is extensive over this next year at the City of Hope. He will also be unable to work for some time due to his recovery and lowered immune status. All funds raised will be used to cover medical and living expenses.
We feel that we have already been given so many miracles and blessings , and want thank all of our family and friends for the ongoing love and support that we have received already!! Thank you all~ Love from the Baker family!
