Go For Gold- Mariah’s Olympic Journey
Donation protected
Hi friends and family,
Most of you who know me, know that I have been chasing my Olympic dream for over 8 years now. Competing at elite levels worldwide and learning so much about myself as well as my sport throughout this journey. 2016 was my first attempt at my Olympic dream when I was just 23 years old and it was one of the hardest journeys I had to learn from. I didn’t get to where I wanted and suffered a terrible depression, but I came out of it even more determined and now I have yet another shot at my Olympic dream.
5 years later and here I am aiming to qualify for the 2021 Olympics in Tokyo, Japan in my favorite event Long jump. Ive been training nonstop, even through this pandemic which has been a very unique and challenging experience, but I’m excited for the future ahead . I will be moving to Georgia to further my dreams of becoming an Olympic jumper and am in need of your help, just like last time I ask for small donations as well as encouragement to help me get further towards making my dream a reality.
As a representative of a small country, Dominica there isn’t much funding I receive to help with training, food, travel, rest and recovery and many other expenses. If you believe in me and my dream please help me by donating $10 or $20 to help me reach my goal. All donations, encouragements, and shares are appreciated!
