Why I'm Riding: My Love for Pisgah's Trails
For me, the trails of the Pisgah National Forest are more than just dirt paths, they're home. They're where I go to clear my head, connect with my family, and lose myself on my bike. Pisgah is where I've find peace and riding the trails here is so fulfilling.
Now, I'm taking on an epic adventure: the Bones to Blue Bikepacking Race around Lake Tahoe. This race is 264 miles long with an estimated 31,000 feet of climbing, and I'll be tackling it completely self-supported, pushing myself as quickly as I can.
I want to use this incredible challenge as a way to give back to the trails that have given me so much. That's why I'm raising money for Pisgah Area SORBA, the dedicated group that maintains and stewards the trails I love so dearly. The grueling climbs and long miles of the Bones to Blue race will be a new challenge that the Pisgah trails have prepared me for.
My goal is to raise $2,640 to directly support Pisgah Area SORBA's general trail maintenance needs. Every dollar helps ensure these incredible trails remain open and rideable for everyone.
Please consider donating and help me reach my goal before I cross the finish line. Let's keep Pisgah's trails in top shape!
