10,000 Cranes for Timote
July 2015 , 10 months ago Timote collapsed at work work feeling very ill. He was rushed to Emergency for symptoms of kidney stones and after 12hours waiting and testing the results were shocking and he was diagnosed with a rare kidney carcenoma with lost function of his right kidney as he was laying in the emergency room.
Timote just turned 27 this year and also lost his older brother to a rare kidney cancer 5yrs ago at the age of 26." As a parent it's something we would never think and feel angry , hurt and sad but we do everything we can to GIVE OUR LOVE, SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGE Timote."
Timote had a Nephrectomy and chemo therapy which did not stop his cancer spreading to his stomach and spine. He continues to work so he can receive medical Insurance and most of his pay goes to hospital bills , labs , chemo therapy and continuing with more treatments at our local Cancer Center even in pain and could hardly walk before his last radiation treatment.
He is a fighter! he would never ask anyone for help and appreciated the folded cranes that still are hanging in our home from all of you. However, at this time we humbly ask for your financial support as his medical bills are an overwhelming stress on him.
This GOFUNDME Campaign will ease the financial burden on Timote and family. Hopefully one day he can bring his thousand cranes to Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park in Japan.
