Hi Everyone, 
My name is Tara Bujold and I am making this page for my step father Mike Perfetti who was diagnosed with Combination Small Cell and Non Small Cell Carcinoma of the lungs in August of this year. He finished his radiation on Oct.14th. For those that know Mike, know that he is a hardworking man and will also understand that it pains him to not be working every day. Convincing him to not work because he would be at risk of getting sick due to the current times that we live in and his weakened immune system, was a difficult thing for Mike to understand. After his first round of radiation, Mike quickly learned that he wouldn’t be able to work due to the toll the treatments were taking on his body. Daily things such as eating and swallowing were a painful challenge for Mike. On the 28th he will start his 3rd round of Chemotherapy for three days and then will have 21 days off. After his 21 days off he will start his 4th and final round of Chemo. After Mike’s last round they will do radiation on his brain to make sure that the cancer did not spread microscopically. 

During these times of Covid-19 and the hardships that this virus has brought to us all emotionally and financially, the best thing we can do is support each other in any way that we can. It is always hard to ask for help, especially during these times. With that said I am kindly asking, if you are able and willing, to donate money in order to help financially support Mike during this time that he is not able to work and/or physically help out during this winter season plowing, snow blowing and shoveling so he can get to appointments or just rest and recover. If anything else, please keep Mike in your thoughts and wish him well as he takes on the challenge of kicking cancer in the a**.
