Thalia Rose vs Cancer “Round 2”

Family, Friends and Community. This fundraiser is for Thalia Rose. Thalia Rose is 7 years old. She was first diagnosed with ALL (type of leukemia) on March 30, 2018, just a few days before easter. She was immediately started on IV chemo, oral chemo and steroids. Over the span of a little over two years she had IV chemo, spinal chemo, had a port placed, blood transfusions, bone marrows, tons of labs drawn, and a lumbar puncture. On June 4th 2020 we thought all of chemo was done and thought all the cancer cells were gone. Now in October 2020 my niece is back in the hospital and her parents Jesus Hernandez and Vanessa Payne were advised that the cancer cells are back and now attacking my niece’s vision. They have started her again on chemo, has had a port placed back in and she is now having to have brain surgery to have a shunt placed because her risk of infection is high from being transferred to and from Cranial radiation treatments.
