Hi, I'm Ray
I have been lost and very disconnected with myself felt like the sky was falling down, last couple years couldn't really understand what I was experiencing loneliness, embarrassment, depression, self-destruction or maybe all the above. Now that I realize I was focused on what others think and may say end of the day I was slowly losing my self inside out not loving myself is the most painful feeling ever, and I love running something that im very passionate about physically and mentally it elevates me to a Zen place. I started my running journey while back 2018 mainly ran for my physical aesthetics and then COVID hit 2020 I actually started fell in love with it more and more I never had a goal for running but one of my bestfriend passed away from Brain tumor cancer then I decided to dedicate my running passion towards him which opened a new chapter in my life called "Marathon" in March 17th St. Patrick's Day 2024 I ran my first ever Marathon in LA I was training for it on and off for about 3 months glad it helped to build me endurance to finish it. My dear friend pushed me along the way to the finish line something that I am very proud of myself. if you would like to see the post.
SO that my running has been very impactful to my community/friends and family started to run which had made really surprise, how did I do this?! and then noticed that small simplest things can changes life forever.
I'm passionate about making a difference in the lives of children around the world. This year I’m taking on the challenge of running a marathon in Anchorage, Alaska woohoo we going to Alaska (never been). While it’s a personal goal, I wanted this run to stand for something bigger than just crossing the finish line.
Also, on my vision board I decided to finish 3 Marathons this year hope you stick along the journey I'm targeting this one Chicago and NYC Marathons. All will be charity and donation purposes.
Around the world, millions of children face challenges that no child should have to experience — lack of clean water, limited access to education, and inadequate healthcare. That’s why I’m dedicating this marathon to raising funds for UNICEF, an organization that works every day to support children and give them a chance at a better future.
A marathon is 26.2 miles, and every mile I run represents hope, resilience, and the belief that small actions can create meaningful change.
My goal is simple: turn each step of this race into support for children who need it most.
If you’re able to contribute, even a small donation can make a difference. Thank you for helping transform this run into something meaningful and for spreading positivity across the world.
Follow my Instagram I would love to share my training and the journey that I will be taking.
