Jason's Journey to Film School...Almost there!

Hello everyone my name is Jason and for those that dont know me, I have appeared in a wide range of Musical theatre West-end shows and UK tours, which is what I have been doing for most of my professional working life. Due to the Pandemic that side of my life has not been a reality for quite sometime and it is highly likely that it will be a significant amount of time before theatre is able to get back up and running as well as we know and would like. For as long as I can remember I have always had a dream to go study in New York and have a career in Film, Television and Theatre - well during the pandemic whilst on my days off from my temporary key worker role at my local supermarket I have looked into and worked towards making this dream a reality. This Dream is almost in touching distance now, and heres how: * I have just been offered a place at the New York Film academy on the one year acting for camera course* The institution have offered partial funding towards my tuition based on the quiality of my audition and breadth of previous work* I have managed to secure somewhere to live through friends I have made from my regular trips * On completion of the one year course I am eligible for a Visa that allows me to put practice into production and work professionally in the states in Film,Television and Theatre.  I have worked extremely hard to make the provisions needed to raise funds to cover costs of my Tuition/Fees and Living costs and can proudly say I am financially 75% of the way there.I now need help with raising the remaining 25%, this final 25% if raised is very cruicial in the role it plays with my future as it ensures I can complete the course and then be ready to start my career on screen globally following the footsteps of many New York Film Academy Alumni, many of which currently appearing regularly on Netflix productions whilst also being able to take on theatrical roles once it is ready. I would be eternally grateful for help from you my wondeful community of friends old and new to help raise £7750 which is equivalent to $10,000 - I know this is a huge amount but it would mean the world if you could donate what you can, no amount is too small and for those of you reading right now that feel they cant make a financial contribution.....
