Hi everyone! My name is Grace Bononno, I am a sophomore at Susquehanna University. October is a super important month to me, it is Breast Cancer awareness month which i’m sure most of you know! Something i’m sure most of you don’t know is that my mom passed away from Breast Cancer when I was 5. I worked at a Morristown Hospital my senior year as an intern. I worked with children with all types of cancer - the same hospital my mom was treated at. With that being said, losing my mom at such a young age was super hard because I mostly have distant memories of her. I want to give back to this hospital and foundation specifically. Morristown goes above and beyond for their patients and I hope that this money can help with anything needed. Any amount of money you are willing to give can help these patients and their families. If you have any questions at all you don’t hesitate to reach out and please share this with your friends and family if you think they would be interested as well. When I come home from college in the winter I plan to deliver the money to the center myself. Lastly, I would also like to emphasize that this is not just for the month of October. This month is specifically dedicated to Breast Cancer but this is an every day thing that people have to live with. Please don’t feel that you only have this month to donate. I have a set goal of $300 but I would love to see the donations go higher than that and raise as much money as possible. Thank you all so much!!
