Help Tammy Battle Breast Cancer
Life has given Tammy numerous challenges in the last few years with a heartbreaking divorce and an unexpected job loss that occurred while she was adjusting to being a single mother to her three wonderful boys.
These hardships presented Tammy with many financial and emotional challenges that she was working hard to overcome. Her greatest desire was to build a new life that would make her boys proud.
She was sure 2020 was her year. She established her own financial environmental consultancy firm and was deeply committed to self-reinvention. But only a few months into this journey, Tammy discovered a lump on her left breast. Days later she learned she had Stage 3 Breast Cancer, two infected lumps and multiple infected lymph nodes.
Tammy's battle with breast cancer won't be easy. She's facing six months of chemotherapy with highly aggressive treatments. Removal of both breasts is likely. It's a fight that will not only drain her physically but also mentally and financially.
Being self-employed with no source of steady income means that Tammy's options for insurance are limited. Her current insurance company does not offer any mental health coverage and medication even after negotiated rates are expensive.
If you'd like to help Tammy get the help and resources she needs to overcome her cancer, please donate today. Every dollar will make a difference. Thank you.
