26 Miles for Tunnel to Towers #2
Tax deductible
Last year, I ran one mile per hour on the top of the hour while in Cincinnati to support the Tunnel To Towers Foundation. Starting Friday, May 28th, I will be doing the same thing and running one mile at the top of each hour for 26 hours straight to total the distance of a marathon. However, this year I will be running at the US Merchant Marine Academy whose campus overlooks the skyline of New York City. I hope to have classmates join me throughout the miles! I'll also have support from family as my uncle is planning on running at the top of every hour from his house. I ran the Tunnel To Towers 5K Run in New York City with my US Merchant Marine Academy classmates at the beginning of the school year in 2020 and it inspired me. In order to help fund the support of military, firefighters, and police officers, I'm again raising money to benefit the Stephen Siller Tunnel To Towers Foundation, and any donation will help make an impact.
This year my goal is to raise $750 for the foundation! Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
More information about Tunnel To Towers Foundation: The mission of The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation is to honor the sacrifice of firefighter Stephen Siller who laid down his life to save others on September 11, 2001. We also honor our military and first responders who continue to make the supreme sacrifice of life and limb for our country.
