26 Miles, 2 Useless Organs

I know I’m not the most avid social media user, but thanks to a moment of madness (and peer pressure) from my good friend Zach, I’ve decided to inform YOU my legion of followers that I have signed up to run yet another marathon. This time I’ll be whipping out the Vaseline and Spandex in Edinburgh for a cause close to my kidneys—literally. I’m again raising funds for PKD (polycystic kidney disease), which I have inherited because, apparently, my organs thought I needed a side quest in life. Now I know t’internet is already awash with the sounds of tin cups rattling, but I’m rattling mine today hoping to raise something for this cause and hopefully before the government finds a creative new way to tax it. Running 26.2 miles with rebellious kidneys might seem unwise, but hey, it’s all for a good cause—and maybe to distract me from the fact I’m voluntarily doing this. Thanks for reading.

Thanks for your support and anything you can give!
