Felicia - Breast Cancer update

Hi, I'm launching a Go-Fund Me campaign for my daughter Felicia. She is 26 years old and has just found out that she has breast cancer.

The road ahead will be difficult to navigate. Her income may have some hiccups. Her expenses are going to be abnormal and hard to anticipate. She is in a job that doesn't have private insurance so she's going to have to see how much OHIP will cover extraneous costs.  Up until now, she has been independently providing for herself and trying to pay off her student debt.

Beating breast cancer is a big ask, but doing it with financial stress is even harder. Asking for any little bit of assistance you can give.

--Update, step 1 was to undergo a process of freezing her eggs because the Chemo will kill them.  Result?  Felicia has reacted with a severe case of Ovarian Hyper-Stimulation Syndrome.   She is in the hospital fighting to recover.  She is expected to be here for 1-2 weeks.

--Update 2, after 11 days, Felicia is now out of the hospital and continuing her recovery from home.  The genetic testing is underway and some further testing on her initial biopsy indicates that surgery is the next step.  We will find out more about "the plan" this week.
