The Veteran Single Parent project is in its second year, with a new extremely deserving nominee!
Last year we helped Single mom Julie and her son Jason with a bedroom makeover! This years nominee is need of much more than just bedroom furniture. Osceola and his son Oscelle are starting from scratch at their new place in South Park. After leaving several unstable living situations over the past few years all of their belongings were lost when his storage unit was auctioned off.
We all know Osceola as the fun loving energetic photographer, blogger, father who is sure to put a smile on your face and take amazing pictures of you! He is the most positive minded/optimistic person I have ever met, and yet he is in need of all of the general household items we take for granted everyday.
Want to know how to help? I have set up two ways to help reach my goal of fully furnishing The O's new home. I have set up a registry at Target where we will be purchasing all of the smaller items and I have set up this 'gofundme' to help with the larger furniture items that I will be purchasing at IKEA!
The accent walls have been painted and now it's time to shop! I hope you can help me help this well deserving family of 2!!!!
