I am reaching out to friends and family to see who would like to give back to a man who has given us so much, my Dad, Dick Harriman. He was diagnosed with lung cancer in January, has had his right upper lobe of his lung removed and he will be starting chemo next week. He will have lots of clinic appts but it will be difficult to get there with his truck in the shop. It needs a new transmission. In addition to that, medical bills adding up from recent surgery and upcoming chemo leave for a great deal of expenses that I hope we can help with. So I am asking if anybody would like to contribute to "OUR SUPERHERO FUND" to get his truck out of the shop and back in his driveway so he can get to his appointments and also any medical bills and daily needs. I don't want him to know about this, it would be priceless to see the look on both my parents faces when they see all the love and support from those who love them. He is the greatest man I know, with the biggest heart, who would give everything he had to help others. His capacity for love is incredible and there just aren't words to describe how much he means to "us". So my hope is that we can give a little something back to him to make this stressful time a bit easier.
