Help Melanie Kick Cancer
Donation protected
Cancer has touched someone you know in your life. Well cancer has touched Melanie’s life.
Two years ago Melanie felt a lump in her breast and her doctor told her it was just a cyst and not to worry about it. She went to see another doctor and he pushed her to get a mammogram. The tests came back at the start of the pandemic and was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer. She had a lumpectomy and a few lymph nodes taken out. After a biopsy they found that out of the 5 lymph nodes 1 had cancer cells in it. Melanie had to go to all the doctor appointments by herself as the pandemic guidelines didn’t allow her partner to accompany her.
Melanie needs our help. Melanie is the kind of person who is willing to put someone before herself and in return we want to do the same.
Melanie is a compassionate person as we all know and has been a well known hairstylist for 20 years in the Ottawa area and successfull fitness competitor and model.
We hope as Melanie moves through her treatments she is reminded of how many people are behind her and love her.
We are asking that you consider a small donation to relieve some financial pressure during her time away from work as her and her partner are self employed with no sick paid time off. Our goal is for Melanie and Shane to be able to focus on herself and her fight for the next little while.
No donation is to big or to small.
If monetary donations are not something you can contribute at this time, please consider writing Melanie a personal message of support. Let’s keep Melanie smiling that beautiful smile!
No one going through the fight for their life should have to worry in the process. We want Melanie to be the best she can be during this enduring time.
Once Melanie wins, we know her first request will be to go back to her daily routine that she is passionate for. Any money received will be given to Melanie as soon as possible to help with the crushing costs of cancer.
Thank you so very much.
