Update: Ringo Williams

My Corgi Ringo was diagnosed this past March with diabetes. Ringo started a GoFundMe for me because the ER visit was over $8000.You all helped me so much in raising over $5000.00.

Well my baby Ringo was just diagnosed with adenocarcinoma cancer on Thursday 11/10. I am shocked and so sad. The dog I had before Ringo named Gigi was hit by a car. I don’t think I want an animal in my life anymore. The pain is just too much for me.

I paid $5000.00 because they found a mass in pancreas duct. Where the masses located they’re unable to do surgery.

He will be 12 years old on 11/14. Most people have said to me that I should just put him down. He’s not ready yet, nor am I. When the time comes, I will make sure he’s comfortable at his own home, and in him cuddling up in my shirts.

He is such a love bug. He loves to cuddle up in my clothes.

Hi my name is Ringo Williams.

I am a very sweet loving and handsome 11 1/2 year year old Corgi that is looking for your kind help with my unexpected vets bills.

I am helping mom raise some money to help her pay my huge emergency vet bill. I got really really sick. My mom had been taking me to normal vet since October 2022 with the same concern about my drinking water. I was even crying in the middle of the night for water. I just needed water.

Now, let me tell you, my mom is pretty smart and sometimes she can be a mama bear which I don’t mind but, she kept telling the vet she thought I had diabetes because I was drinking a huge amount of water and peeing all over the house. Hey don’t judge me. I couldn’t help it.

The vet told her it was behavioral. What?!? I know better to not pee in the house. I have a doggy door. That made me mad but I was too tired to speak up. So I growled to myself and buried my head into my moms arms.

My mom thought I was getting better but that was not the case.

Last week, I was feeling really bad. I could barely walk. I could only walk a few feet as I was exhausted. I stopped eating because I just didn’t have the drive to eat. I stopped pooping too because that took to much energy. My body was shutting down.

My mom took me the emergency vet. I heard heard on the phone telling someone that I was dying. She was crying. I tried to comfort her but I just didn’t have the strength in my body to go to her and give her the love see needed from me. I couldn’t even lick her face because my tongue was stuck to my teeth because my mouth was super dry. Yuck!

This really nice lady came and took me to the back area. She even called me her buddy. That made me feel special and she was really cute. She poked me a few times but I took it like the good boy that I am.

The results were in. I had Type 1 Diabetes. My mom cried because I was finally diagnosed with what she thought I had all along. She knows me so well.

I stayed in the ICU for a few days so you can imagine the bill. My mom even came to visit me. It was nice to see her smile and to get her kisses. She loves me so much. Now between the nights in ICU, medication, insulin, needles and follow appointments the bill is close to $12,000.00 and that is not the final bill.

My mom doesn’t know that I am asking for help but I thought I should help her out because she could have gone on a very nice vacation with what she has spent on me. She loves me so much she didn’t even think about sending me over the rainbow. I know I am an old man but I am not ready to go.

This money will help her to pay my vet bill and help her with my follow up care I will need. If there is any money left over she will donate it to the emergency vet that saved me.
