Disabled mom and son homeless after Sally

Donation protected
Hi everyone. This is for Stephanie Watts and Aedan Peel. I want to start by saying after all the horrible things that have happened to her this year with health concerns and other issues, she is still 100% about helping her community. Right after the hurricane she didn't even worry about her own home. She raised donations of food, water and clothes to help her community even when she herself was suffering. But now..... My best friend and her son have been displaced after Hurricane Sally sent a tree through their home and ruined the roof. She is disabled after a major stroke 3 years ago and also has a major heart condition which requires her to have a pacemaker. Her son just turned 13 and is autistic. She is on a tight fixed income and sadly couldn't afford home insurance. The house is not livable now because of the horrid mold growing from the ruined roof and all the moisture that got in. Mice have since got in and taken over as well. They have lost alot of their belongings to the mold so far. She has had to put what small bit can be saved into storage which takes up more of their small amount of funds. She recently found out the house is going to now have to be gutted down to the studs and bare concrete floors and rebuilt to make it liveable for them again. She is at a loss of what to do. Staying at the house had them coughing up blood, so now they are living in a small shed at this time because she has nowhere else to go and still be available to get into her home if need be. Fema has been no help at all. And there is currently no more shelters available. She desparately needs help getting the mold remediation and her house put back together and a new roof. Just to get the mold under control has been quoted at about $9,000. Let alone all the work to gut the house then rebuild it. The funds raised will go straight to getting the repairs done to their house to make it safe and just livable for the 2 of them. They would be eternally grateful for even the tiniest bit of help.
