The family and extended family of Bill Shahan, long time radio personality and sales person for St. Albans Windows, would like to share Bill’s story.

Once upon a time there was a man who did many great things. He worked hard for his family to provide them with everything they needed and more. He was the town’s idol and even more so his daughter’s ,Kylie and Allyson.

Bill’s profession as DJ in the Charleston area allowed him to spend many hours celebrating with many friends, family and acquaintances through the years.

His daughters, Kylie & Allyson now live in Anchorage, AK and Bill, Billy, Shaydog, has earned a new name of G-Paw by his amazing grandson, Wyatt.

Bill is going through some trials and tribulations that are life changing for all of us.  December 2015, Bill was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer. Many family members and friends have already helped in so many ways, bringing food to the family, sending donations, and most of all prayer. Bill and Londa are forever grateful for the outpouring of love and friendship.

Bill has been unable to work due to the extensive chemotherapy, radiation, hospital visits and doctors appointments. He and Londa have been fighting this fight and facing new challenges daily. Londa is caring for Bill, taking him to his doctors appointments, working and keeping up with everyday living.

As you know the insurance situation today never covers what is owed and even keeping up with co-payments, the medical bills keep mounting.
