Please help our Oma!  She is well taken care of at this time by her Mexican family at this time.  

Oma, also known as Ilona Montel, Mama, Iloontje and mom, is very sick! She does NOT have Covid-19 but is hospitalized with Pneumonia and Influenza. She is 90 years old and is in a hospital in Mexico.

She is loved and appreciated by friends and family all over, but is isolated and alone in Mexico, except for dear friends who are caring for her.  She has very few resources, and lives in Mexico on a fixed income.  

She has may friends, I know you are out there! Over the years, she has touched the lives of many of us with her spirit, kindness, wisdom, and above all, her positive outlook on life! Right now, all of us are living in difficult times, and it feels like a bad time to give, but even $10 will offset her medical expense, which as of right now are around $4,936.

She is strong willed and mentally very sharp, and will beat this thing, but she needs help! Her family is doing what it can, but all of us are going through difficulty with the current pandemic and can’t afford to pay the entire bill ourselves, much as we’d like to.
