Hello everyone,
As many of you know, I moved out West because I believed with everything in me that God called me to serve and witness to the people of Los Angeles. Finding paid work at a church down here is difficult in and of itself, so in Minneapolis I got into a great rhythm of driving for Lyft and Uber with the intention of that being my income down here. The job paid well enough, and truthfully, was flexible enough that I could be available at a moments notice. It was essentially the perfect job for ministry.
So with the aide of two college friends, we made the voyage down to Southern California, with no mishaps or problems whatsoever. That is until the second day of California driving. I was unfortunate enough to rear end a man in front of me while changing lanes, and I discovered this week that my car was totaled.
I had a contingency plan for everything else. For my living situation. For my ministerial pursuits. Even for how long I was going to be in LA. But I didn't plan for my source of income to become junkyard decor.
I believe that when we are playing Checkers, God is playing Chess. So I am asking for help to raise a bit of money to look for a new car down here in Southern California. Honestly any tiny amount helps. I believe that our God is infinitely rich and that this turn of events (which seemed almost to be the end) will be Gods Glory made perfect.
