Funeral and Medical costs for our grandfather

Jon Dennis Ferris was a husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He taught us so much about life and even more about cooking in the kitchen. He never turned away someone in need regardless of their situation. He not only saved my life as a child, but also helped the surgeons put my face back together. Helping us with countless bee stings and boo boos he was always there with first aid and a life lesson. He was an amazing chef, the kitchen was almost always on with something being served up. He knew how to have a drink with friends and have a good laugh. He was a mountain of a man but despite his intimidating look, he was gentle and kind (unless we were working in the kitchen then it was serious business). We know that he had a positive impact on everyone's lives and undoubtedly shaped his children and grandchildren into decent men and women. It is sad to see someone like him pass but he lived so hard and he loved even harder. We are asking for donations to help cover the funeral costs, medical expenses and provide grandma with some help to get her moved down south with family. Thank you and God bless.
