We love you Dad! RIP Frank Moroni

Dear friends and family,
As many of you know, our father, Francis A Moroni (a.k.a Frank), went home to be with our Lord on June 11th around 12:30 am. He was in the E.R. for about 5 hours fighting for his life. We believe he died from liver failure, but there was never an official cause of death since he passed away during the exams. However five days prior, he was diagnosed with cancer, which we later found out.
Now, Dad was so gifted with music and ministry. Anyone who heard him play felt blessed. I feel God used him most in the prison ministry. I read a letter from 1989 that he received from someone in prison who was asking for dad to come back! This tells me he was making a difference and sharing the good news, the gospel of Christ. Dad's passion for Christ was so strong. He always worshipped Him and gave credit to Him every time he wrote a new song. So, there is no surprise that he made a difference in people's lives.
Like anyone, Dad had his struggles. Life was not always easy for him and, like all of us, he made a lot of mistakes along the way. However, I don’t recall him ever complaining. He just gave thanks to the Lord for what he had and knew tomorrow would be a new day. Without a doubt I know that he loved us kids and both of my moms, Caroline and Melody, very much. I am thankful that I was able to get to know my dad more over these last few years. He would call me all the time and tell me about his life. I could feel how much love he had for all of us.
Finally, he is at peace in our Lord's loving arms. He is free from pain! He is healed! He is loved! As some of you may know, funerals are costly. We ask that, instead of flowers, you leave a donation, please. Anything helps, even $5 is enough. If anything, please keep us in prayer.
Rest in peace daddy! We love you!
