On April 1, 2016, Mark was taken Carson City Emergency room with stomach and back pain.  After many tests, they informed Mark that they were 99 percent sure he has pancreatic cancer.  YOU COULD HAVE BLOWN US AWAY WITH A FEATHER.  After many tears, hugs, and prayers, we have decided that God has lead us to Cancer Treatment Centers of America.  We went to CTCA on 4/13/2016.  We spent 10 days there and diagnosis is 4th stage Pancreatic Cancer.  Chemo was started.  We returned to CTCA in two weeks, driving there for the 52 hour chemo treatment.  This trip was very hard on Mark.  So Mark has decided to take his treatments in Carson City, MI.  This decision will be easier on Pauline as she carries the insurance, and has to continue working.  This is going to be a long road.  With the loss of Mark's income and incoming medical expenses, any thing will be greatly appreciated.  We will keep you posted on Mark's progress.  Please pray for our families.
