Lylli Smith Memorial Fund

***Update We are so incredibly appreciative of everyone that donated, prayed, called, texted, and attended Lylli’s memorial. Your generosity helped us to have the memorial our Lylli deserved. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! But now we find ourselves at another point of needing to ask for your help. Details of what happened on the night of Lyllian’s death are beginning to come to light. This much we know, it was not an accident. And her family, more than anything, what to make sure those responsible are caught and legally persecuted. In order to do this we have to hire a lawyer in California. This will probably end up being more than we can afford. So again we’re reaching out to you, our family and friends, to help out in any way you can. We truly appreciate it!***

Lyllian Nichole Smith was born February 1st 1999. She was the daughter of Melissa Canales and Bud Smith and sister to Megan Smith. From a young age Lylli was very quick witted and head strong. She held her own and would not back down. Lylli also had a huge heart that held everyone she came into contact with close to her. She had a beautiful warmth about her that could light up a room and she cared deeply about those in her life. Lylli was unique and danced to beat of her own drum, not caring about what others thought of her. Lylli grew into a free spirited hippie whose goal was to become the captain of her own ship. Lylli, just like all of us, had some major struggles in her life. She was able to recognize these struggles and made the decision to fly to California where she was going to work towards overcoming her demons and become the best version of herself. Lylli fought hard and she fought with a smile until she couldn't fight anymore. Lylli fell victim to her struggle. Lyllian passed away on October 7th, 2020. At the heartbreaking age of just 21 years old, Lylli left behind friends and a whole entire family that cherished and loved her to her core. We all wanted her to get better so badly. Her family hopes to put together a beautiful funeral service to match her gorgeous ever-flowing soul. If you can, a donation of any amount, or food donations, and definitely prayers, helps her family tremendously and will go to the funds of her funeral service. We appreciate your time and consideration.
