Regenerative Therapy

My first spine surgery was 2014, my second was 04/2015 and third was 09/2015, and my fourth was in 2017 to put in a shunt to release fluid pressing against my spine. The second surgery resulted in damage to my spine about 1.5 cm. I have been either in a wheelchair or using a walker since, and in the last couple months struggling to walk 50 feet with a walker. I recently had a total spinal MRI and Duke University surgeons said there was nothing they could do to help all the tingling and numbness I currently have from the lower abdomen waist area down to my toes. I do not accept that diagnosis. After lots of research I sent my films to a doctor in Utah who does stem cell therapy. He recommended me to a Neurosurgeon in Austin, Texas named Dr Madera. I met with her and submitted bloodwork to her and had another MRI. I meet with her on 12/9 to finalize treatment. She is the first neurosurgeon who has given me hope since 2014. Everything I spend on this is out of pocket. I tried to get a loan but was unsuccessful. I cannot tell you how grateful I am to have people help me financially on this journey.
