Alex’s half marathon in memory of Kasey Anderson

Hi my name is Alex Kirkby, I am running the Aintree half marathon on 25th may in memory of my lovely lifelong friend Kasey who sadly passed away last year due to a brutal stabbing. After being rushed to Aintree Hospital, he underwent what was hoped to be lifesaving surgery but died 20 days later in the early hours of March 31 - just over a week shy of what would have been his 25th birthday on April 8.

My aim is to raise enough funds to get a bench in his memory as a place where his family and friends can go to remember him and all the amazing memories we shared together!

We all miss our crazy Kasey. If you were lucky enough to have ever met Kasey you can agree he had a huge infectious personality. He always without a doubt made everyone laugh and left a mark on everyone he met.
