A good friend I consider a sister's son, Carlito, was in an accident and has had major brain trauma.  His family is beyond worried as he is still in critical condition and has a long road to recovery. He has had to have a part of his skull removed to relieve the pressure in his brain, he has had staples in his right knee due to a major gash, and currently has elevated white cell count and fever.

His family is being told he will soon go home, but are not equipped to deal with his return  home. His mother has had to quit a new job to be able to deal with her sons needs and in turn needs help for his medical bills, medical equipment upon his return home and to help with home expenses now that is not working.

Unfortunately, not too much is known at this time about how this accident occurred, but will update when more details are available.

The family would be so very thankful for your kindness and generousity if you could help out with even the smallest amount. It would take off the extra pressure of having to deal with an unimagineable situation that would be any parent's worst nightmare.
