Hong Quang Orphanage Phu My Vietnam

Donation protected
I have been in the travel and tourism business for over 40 years, visiting countries in North Africa, Scandinavia, Europe, Russia, Middle East and Asia. During this time I have experienced many good times and have a lot of great memories and good friends. It's now time for me to give something back - and I am doing this by supporting a small unfunded orphanage in the township of Phu My - near Baria, in southern Vietnam.
The orphanage relies on donations and volunteer work from displaced and caring locals.
Since my first visit 1 year ago when there were 29 children being cared for - there are now 55 children as of mid-August 2016. Ages of the children are from a few months to teenage. Some with disability, others just needing care. Unfortunately Vietnam does not have any great programs that look after abandoned children - and all of these children have been abandoned for some reason - either medical or personal.
In the last year I visited the orphanage several times with needed supplies (disposable diapers, powdered milk formula etc) as well as clothes and toys. They also need a regular supply of fresh food/protein. We bought them a new washing machine last April to at least give the children clean clothes and bedding.
Our next visit will be in January 2017. Will you please consider helping us give the young monk (35) and his orphanage some much-needed funds?

Thank you
