Thank you for all of your help and support throughout the regular season! Caleb's Varsity 8 boat had an incredibly successful Southwest Regional Championships in Sacramento and qualified for the Youth National Championships held this year in Princeton, NJ from June 10th-12th. Caleb and his crew have worked hard for this opportunity and I hope to provide the best possible experience for him in preparation for racing the best crews in the country.

With that in mind, He has finished training at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista where the boys were housed in the same athlete dorms that our USA Olympic Team has stayed in as well as have meals provide by the dining hall and have access to all the athlete "lounges" afforded to our national teams. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity to live like Olympic athletes for a few days and, most immediately, it was the best possible place to prepare for our national championships.

I hope that you will agree and understand the significance of being able to compete for a national championship. The tremendous commitm
ent and hours of dedication to achieve this once in a life time opportunity.
