I'm am so incredibly excited to announce that I was accepted into the Gaga summer intensive in Tel Aviv, Israel. I have recently been submersed into the gaga technique this past year in my training, and from the very first day I knew that I had found what felt like a little piece of home. Ohad Naharin created the gaga technique, in which we tune in to the sensations that arise in our bodies by working with the connection between effort and pleasure through conscious and unconscious movement. after a few gaga classes I really felt connected to my own energy more than I ever had felt before, and my idea of dance that I had already created completely changed mentally and physically. what excites me is knowing that I've only brushed the surface of gaga technique, and I know that being apart of this intensive this year will help me delve way further into this technique that I long to practice! I believe that this opportunity could change my life and my dancing career/ I know it will. I would love for you guys to help me make it possible to go to Israel and be apart of this incredible opportunity. this journey is one that I know that I'm ready for I just need your help. all of the money that is raised will go towards the tuition of the program, the travel expenses and my housing.
