Post Concussion Treatment For Aasin

Dear friends, family, and people whom I may not know as of yet. I write you this from the bottom of my heart and in tears on behalf of my younger brother Aasin Edison in a desperate attempt to help him regain his life back after suffering multiple concussions while playing football at Grafton High School in September of 2015. Prior to the concussions my brother was your normal energetic and happy kid with a passion for sports.  Very outgoing, ambitious, passionate, funny, loving and just an all around outstanding respectful young man full of life. Unfortunately that was cut short his senior year of high school after taking several hard hits playing football. Since then my brother is not the same. His life has changed drastically. He is no longer able to drive, he is no longer able to work, he suffers from severe headaches and nausea, his vision has declined severely and remains blurry, he is having difficulty sleeping at night, his blood pressure has become high due to overwhelming anxiety and stress, he's constantly tired, his energy is low, and he doesn't and hasn't felt like himself since the incident took place. I can see in my brothers eyes that he is losing hope. I can see in my brothers eyes that he is panicing, scared, hurt, and trying his hardest not to slip into depression. I know my brother. I helped raise my brother. I love my brother. This is why I, along with my family, REFUSE to let my brother decline. I REFUSE to not do everything in my power to help my brother regain his life back and get the help he is so desperately seeking. With GOD, my family, and others who are able and willing to help I wholeheartedly believe I can put my brother in a position for recovery. After coming across a video that my brother had tagged myself and my family in, of a young girl with the exact same symptoms who received successful treatment at a center in Marietta, GA that specializes in Post Concussion Syndrome, I could tell he had not only came across an amazing video but he had also regained a small amount of hope within himself. That small amount of hope that I witnessed in him has led me here. I am determined to get my brother to that facility along with my family and the help of people who are willing and able to help. I truly believe my brother didn't stumble across that video for no reason. The medical facility is Cerebrum Health Center in Marietta, GA. There my brother will stay at a facility where he undergoes multiple diagnostic tests to monitor his brain activity, vision, and nerve functioning for up to two weeks. They have an outstanding success rate in treating patients and specialize in treating everything my brother is experiencing. My mother called to see how to go about getting him there and was told it would take a substantial amount of money. $14,000 for a complete two week study and $7,000 for a one week study. I could see in my brothers eyes he had lost hope once again. Hope that my family and I are not willing to let him lose. I am determined to get him there. Our plan is to get my brother there before the end of June as they are  moving the facility to Texas. In GA we have family we can stay with while my brother stays at the facility, eliminating extra cost for a hotel room ect. This is something I feel I have to do. No amount of money should determine a persons life. I love my brother. We as a family love him along with many others. Please help us if you can. Please help him. Even if it's a dollar we will appreciate it and be thankful for anything you're willing to offer. Even if you can't donate please just share and maybe it can reach a person or group who can. All my brother wants is to feel normal again, and all we want to do his help get him there. Thanks for reading.
