Hello! My name is Irena Henning, and I have created this page to support the most amazing person in my life. She is a mom of three adopted kids and a grandmother of one.
My mom has been through thick and thin with all three of her kids, as a single parent. Her faith has guided her through all the obstacles of life, including our most recent challenge - kidney failure.
My mom, Carol, was diagnosed with kidney failure in Decemeber of 2014. This was the beginning of a new lilfestyle for our family. My mom has been on dialysis for a little over a year now, and she is finally on the National Kidney Transplant list. Although it has been a tough year and a half with medicial bills and paying for insurance, we have continued to keep our faith in what the Lord has in mind for our family of four.
Since my mom has been on disablity for the past year, funds are getting tighter and tighter. She was a home health and hospice nurse for many years, she has always been there for others and I hope that one day her kindness is paid back.
I hope this money will go towards medical bills (and God willing a new kidney).
My mom has touched the lives of so many people; I want to try my best to help my mom out and show her the same kindness.
