Donation protected
Friday evening Forrest took Kaleb to the ER for stomach pains. They ran some tests and transferred Kaleb to Children's for further testing.
Saturday morning the doctors confirmed every parent's worst nightmare, tests are showing cancer: leukemia -(later to be called T-cell lymphoblastic leukemia)
More tests and scans were done on Kaleb with the plan to start treatment Monday.
In the wee hours of Sunday morning, Kaleb was transferred to ICU for low heart rate and high potassium and was stabilized. Doctors decided then, Monday was too far off. Kaleb had a bone marrow biopsy, blood tests, spinal tap, and port in.
Sunday evening Kaleb began chemo.
We want to help Forrest (and family) and Mel (and family) as much as we can during this road ahead. Please help in any way you can, praying, meals, monetary donations, a phone call: text, or any other way you can.
One day at a time and with God by Kaleb's side, Kaleb will kick cancers butt. #KalebStrong
