Yesterday the world lost one of the brightest shining stars, it was the darkest day. Trauma has accelerated our heartbeats, and tears are bursting forth from the broken dams of our eyes. There is no escaping this pain.

Ryan Fitzgerald, our brother, son, friend, cousin, uncle, boyfriend and Marine has died on May 22, 2016 from a completely unexpected trauma. This does not feel real.

Ryan had such a zest for living. He loved life, he enjoyed the greatest foods, the best wines, and had such an appreciation for everything of the finest quality. He was always a hard worker, and knew he'd be a millionaire someday if he just worked hard enough and long enough. He was fastidious by nature, always keeping a clean space, a clean body, he treated himself like a temple. He brought joy into every life that he touched with his contagious laughter.

His death is an unexpected tragedy in the lives of every person he has touched and known.

Due to the unexpected nature of his death, the family is  unprepared and ill equipped to handle his cremation cost at this time. We are asking for help to secure the funds for a cremation so that he doesn't have to be buired with the homeless in an unmarked grave.

Time is of the essence right now because we only have 5 days, May 27th, 2016, to come up with the funds for his cremation before the county buries him.
