Please Help Shelby!

This is Shelby, an adorable, kind-hearted girl who has gone through 8 painful surgeries in her 9 years of life. She was born with an extremely rare condition called Saethre-Chotzen Syndrome. She has bicoronal craniosynostosis; basically the bones in her face and skull do not grow properly and she needs corrective surgeries as she grows to make room for her brain to expand. In addition, she has had several hospital stays due to illnesses and infections, and currently has a team at Children's Hospital of L.A. working to try and help this child lead a better quality of life. Her mother is a single parent who works extremely hard to support them, but between the copay/coinsurance with Shelby's continued medical expenses, and the time and efforts it takes to effectively manage Shelby's medical case, it has taken its toll. Despite mom's best efforts, the ongoing situation had caused her to make tremendous sacrifices, and even is facing probation at her full time job, due to time missed. The situation is dire..Prayers can only go so far..Will you help Shelby and her hard working mom get the help they desperately need ? In her spare time, Shelby and her mom volunteer for a local animal rescue organization and also rescue/foster animals because Shelby wants to be a vet when she grows up.
