Energy Team Trip to DC for Award

We are the Environmentalists, a team from Bednarcik Junior High School in Aurora, IL, that is dedicated to improving our world through recycling and energy conservation.  We started many programs at our school this year and have been recognized by The NEED Project Youth Awards Program for Energy Achievement as the National Rookie Team of the Year.  NEED stands for National Energy Education Development.  As part of the recognition weekend in Washington, D.C., we will be able to attend workshops which will allow us to share our program and also provide opportunites to learn new stategies and develop leadership skills to help our team make an impact on our community energy usage.  We are hoping to raise enough money to send our entire team of 8 to the event.  The money is needed to help pay registration and travel cost.  Currently we have enough funds to send 3 students but the entire group worked equally as hard on the projects throughout the year and we are hoping the team can stay together to collect their award.
