My best friend of more than 40 years, Therese, had a series of health issues arise that requires her to undergo a series of tests -- angiograms, CT scans, and other tests to try and diagnose a seemingly complex illness (it is not COVID). Her energy has been depleted to the level where even talking wears her down. I am extremely concerned for her -- and I am sure you are too. Therese's medical bills are piling up, and while she maintains an upbeat and positive external face, she is quietly overwhelmed by the stress of her seemingly insurmountable financial situation.
