I am extremely excited to announce that I will be traveling back to Peru this spring with the Medlife organization. My volunteer trip last summer was life changing and I could not have imagined a better experience.

During my time in Peru, I helped with mobile clinics in areas stricken with poverty. These people have no access to medical care. They have no paved roads, no running water, and no electricity. Prior to the interactions with this organization, these people did not even know what cancer was. Medlife partners with local doctors to provide on-going medical care. Patients recieve consultations, medication, lab reports, and can continue to recieve this sort of aid through out their lives. Additionally, Medlife works in their comminuties to perform service projects such as creating nurseries, schools, and stairs to increase mobility.

All of the proceeds I raise will go towards my trip and the organization to provide supplies and care to those in need in Peru.
