As some of you may know, David Germain Jr. (Junior) had a brain aneurism in September.  At the time, he was on a family trip in Dawson Creek, BC with his mom (Natasha), Dad (Dave Sr.) and three siblings.

On September 24th, Junior was out with his family and he suddenly became disorientated. His parents were worried and brought him to the hospital for examination where the doctor ordered a CT scan. They discovered Junior had a brain bleed. That same day, Junior and his parents were sent to Vancouver General Hospital on an emergency medivac for brain surgery. Juniors surgery was scheduled for October 9th. However, after the pre-op examination today, the doctors have postponed the surgery another three weeks due to complications.

Junior and his parents will have to remain in Vancouver until the scheduled surgery (date still unknown). With the extra costs of traveling, meals, hotels and possibly the medevac (still unknown) all while not being able to work, has caused stress and stain on the whole family. Junior will have a long road ahead of him and there are still a lot of unknowns at this point.

Junior has just turned 14 years old. He is very active outdoors and loves biking, skate boarding, dirt biking and fishing. He is also a Champagne and Aishihik First Nations member and his family is very active in the community. Anyone who knows this family, knows that they are honest and hardworking. This has been a huge financial strain on Dave Sr. and Natasha as they have three other children and it has been hard to ask for much needed help.
