On Thursday, May 19, 2016, my dear friend and colleague Simona Chavez lost her husband, to cancer. Juan Carlos Mendez fought a good long fight against Hodgkins disease, and now he is resting in peace. He left behind his bestfriend/wife, Simona and his two beautiful young children, Maya 6 and, Aiden 4. As we can all imagine my friend Simona will be having a hard time getting her life back together financially and emotinally/mentally without the help of her husband.
