Hobbits 1200 Hike for Hospice

Want to join me in making a difference? We are raising money to benefit Albany Hospice Inc. Any donation will make an impact.

I (Brent Offer) am an Albany resident and will be conquering the Bibbulmun track for a second time to raise funds for Albany Community Hospice. This time I will be joined by my 4 sons (Callum aged 15, Jacob 13, Aiden 11 and Michael 8). We will take on the track in sections over the next three years.

In the October 2020 school holidays we walked 211km across Rottnest and then Perth to Kalamunda and on to Jarrahdale over 17 days.  Over Easter 2021 we took on the next section 255km from Jarrahdale to Collie. Now we are preparing for the next chapter in Oct 2021, 155km from Collie to Donnelly River Village. Donnelly River Village marks the half way point of our trek from to the Porongurups near Albany.

I (Brent Offer) am an Albany resident and will be conquering the Bibbulmun track for a second time to raise funds for Albany Community Hospice. This time I will be joined by my 4 sons (Callum aged 15, Jacob 13, Aiden 11 and Michael 8). Over  5 school holiday periods we will take-on the track with the goal of completing the hiking trail over the next three years.

We are going to start next holidays 26 October by walking across Rottnest. From there we will walk across Perth to the Kalamunda Hills and join onto the trail from there. Overall we will walk almost 1200km from Perth back to our home in the Porongurups.

I have previously raised funds for the Albany Hospital Maternity Ward and Perth Children’s Hospital, and thought this time it would be great to raise money for Hospice.

The Albany Hospice is the only Community Run Hospice in Western Australia, and they need our support. Any donation will help make an impact. Donations can be lump sum or by the km as we progress on our trek.
